Copy of your conditional Green Card, front and back

Where to find it: The physical card; copy both sides onto one sheet if you can.

Evidence that the marriage was in good faith, from the wedding to today

Where to find it: Of several kinds: home, money, children, insurance, and statements from people who know you. The next items are the instructions' examples.

USCIS fee payment, or Form I-912 if you request a fee waiver

Where to find it: The current amount is on the uscis.gov fee calculator. By mail you pay by card (G-1450) or bank account (G-1650); paid to USCIS separately.

Clear copies of each document, not originals

Where to find it: A copy shop, or your phone camera in good light with the whole document in the frame.

Copy of each included child's card, front and back

Only if you include conditional-resident children

Where to find it: Each child's physical card.

Birth certificates of children born during the marriage

If you have children born during the marriage

Where to find it: The civil registry or the state's vital records office.

Lease, mortgage, or deed in both names

Gather whatever is in both names; the more kinds, the better

Where to find it: Your current and earlier leases, or the bank's or county's paperwork.

Joint bank accounts, joint tax returns, insurance, and utilities in both names

Gather whatever is in both names; the more kinds, the better

Where to find it: Statements with transactions, complete joint tax returns, policies naming the other as beneficiary, electric or gas bills.
