Clear refunds
This policy covers the fee paid to Paso Libre. USCIS fees are paid directly to the government, are never marked up, and never pass through Paso Libre.
Within 14 calendar days
You may request a full refund of Paso Libre's fee within 14 calendar days of payment, with no need to explain why.
After 14 days
If our system made a technical error transferring your answers or generating the PDF, we will correct it at no cost. If we cannot produce a technically correct PDF, we will refund Paso Libre's fee.
What is outside Paso Libre's control
We do not offer refunds based on a USCIS decision, delay, request for evidence, rejection or denial. We also do not assess whether an answer or piece of evidence is legally sufficient. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights.
Government fees
USCIS generally treats its fees as final and non-refundable, regardless of the decision on the application. Confirm the current rules directly with USCIS before you pay. Paso Libre cannot recover or refund payments made to the government.
How to request one
Write from your account email to hola@tupasolibre.com and include the form and the date of payment. We will confirm receipt and, if it applies, send the refund to the original payment method. The money usually shows on your statement 5 to 10 business days after we approve it; the exact timing depends on your bank.
