Security
Your data, under lock.
This is what we actually do to look after your information. Not one promise we cannot keep.
Encryption

Your Social Security number, A-number, date of birth and passport number are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM.

Other data, such as your address, is protected by the platform's own encryption and access controls, not by that per-field encryption.
Your browser only reaches PasoLibre over HTTPS. An unencrypted connection is not allowed.
Your file
Only your account can read your answers
The database checks every query and returns only the rows that belong to your account. Another customer cannot see them.
The rule lives in the database, not in the app. If the app fails, the rule still stands.
Your account
You can add a second key
Turn on two-step verification in your settings. After your password we ask for a code from your phone.
Your rights
Download everything that's yours, or erase it
From your settings you can request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account. We confirm who you are first.
Some payment, consent and security records are kept when the law requires it. We explain this in the privacy policy.
The log
Important actions are written down
We keep a log that only grows: nothing is erased or edited. Each entry is chained to the one before it.
We do not claim every read of every field is logged. We log privileged and security actions.
Plainly stated
What we do not do
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
We do not store your card
Stripe processes the payment. Your card details are not stored here.
We are not a law firm
We prepare forms. We do not give legal advice and we do not represent anyone.
We do not decide for you
We do not assess whether you qualify or pick which form is yours.
If something goes wrong
No system is perfect
If we suspect improper access, we investigate and notify as the law requires. The process is published, not hidden.
