New Jersey
Your USCIS forms, from Passaic
Passaic is a small, dense city in northern New Jersey, inside the county of the same name.
Available now in New Jersey.
Your address on the form
The city of Passaic is in Passaic County. The name repeats, but they are two different things.
If a box asks for the city, write Passaic. If it asks for the county, that is Passaic too.
Paterson and Clifton are in the same county and are separate municipalities. Living nearby is not living there.
USCIS mails you at the address you write down. Check it before you sign.
USCIS offices in New Jersey
New Jersey has two USCIS field offices: Newark and Mount Laurel. The one nearest Passaic is Newark.
There are no walk-ins. USCIS tells you by mail when and where to go; you do not choose the office.
New Jersey certificates
If you were born or married in Passaic, New Jersey holds the record. You request it through the state's official channels.
